Patrick D. Joyce grew up in a diplomatic family, living in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has been a newspaper reporter, a political scientist, and a medical practice manager. Most proudly, he is a husband and father.
Patrick first encountered Christopher Marlowe’s play Doctor Faustus in a high school English class and has been haunted by it ever since. His first novel, One Devil Too Many, is a mystery set in 17th Cambridge in which four students – including a young John Milton – pursue a murderer obsessed with that play.
